Electric Service

BTES has provided affordable, reliable electric service to Bristol, Tenn., and Sullivan County, Tenn., since 1945. We serve a 280-square-mile service area – more than 31,000 customers.

We work closely with the city to promote economic development and with customers to promote safety.

We offer many programs to help customers take advantage of energy-efficient, clean, affordable electricity, such as heat pump and water heater programs. Details of these and others are on this Web site.
