BTES Offers Many Ways to Pay

At BTES, we understand that life can get busy, so we offer a variety of easy and convenient payment options so you can choose what works best for you! Whether you prefer to pay online, in person, or through an automatic system, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a breakdown of all the ways you can pay your BTES bill:

Bank Draft

More than 10,000 customers use bank draft which is the best and easiest way to pay your BTES bill! Bank draft ensures your payments are always on time, even if you’re on vacation or busy with other commitments. With this option, your bank account will be automatically drafted for the current amount due on the due date. To set it up, simply complete this form and allow at least ten business days for processing. If your bill is due within the next two weeks, consider using another payment method for that cycle.

Drop Boxes

We have three convenient drop boxes available for payments at no cost to you! Two drop boxes are available at our main office on Volunteer Parkway. One is located between Avoca Elementary School and our office, and the other is located in the drive-thru lane. Our third drop box is conveniently located next to the courthouse at 801 Anderson St, facing 8th Street. Drop your payment in the box at least three business days prior to your due date, and you’re good to go!

In-Person Payments

For those who prefer face-to-face interaction, you can visit our office at 2470 Volunteer Parkway. Our team is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accept cash, check, or money order payments.

CheckOut

CheckOut is an easy way to pay your BTES bill with cash at participating retailers such as Dollar General and CVS Pharmacy. With this option, you can pay your bill at your convenience, even during extended hours. Payments are processed immediately, so your account is updated right away.

Pay by Phone - Check or Credit/Debit Card

Payments can be made by phone at 423-574-1729. The automated system will guide you through the payment process. There is a $1 fee for check payments, and a 2.45% convenience fee for credit/debit card payments.

Online Payments

Paying online via an e-check or credit/debit card is quick and simple. Use your account number and password to log in to your account and view your bill, check your balance, and make payments. A $1 fee will apply for e-check payments, and a 2.45% convenience fee for each credit/debit card transaction.

By Mail

For those who prefer to mail in their payment, please place your check and bill stub in the envelope provided with your bill, add a postage stamp, and drop it in the nearest mail receptacle. Keep in mind that mailing delays can affect the timing of your payment, so we encourage you to send it in advance to ensure it arrives on time.

Other Payment Locations

Payments can also be made at Bank of Tennessee and First Horizon.
