"We were having trouble with our bundled internet, phone and cable on 8/7/17, none of the three services were working. We contacted customer service and they dispatched Jason Johnson to troubleshoot the issue. The outside electrical box was swarming with yellow jackets. Jason used all the bee spray he had on his truck and had to call Jason Broadwater to bring more bee spray. They used all of their spray and had to call Colin O'Connor to bring out even more spray to gain access to the electrical box. They used an entire box of bee spray just to get in the box. They must have killed between 300 and 500 yellow jackets. Once inside the box they replaced the battery and found that the yellow jackets nest had separated the wire from the battery. These employees did an outstanding job and maintained a level of professional conduct facing such an evil adversary. Yellow jackets are pure evil, they are vicious. You have three outstanding service technicians! They did an awesome job! We are so thankful to be a BTES customer! You do a great job and provide a great service to our community!"

"As we all know, the weather in these parts has been nothing short of unpredictable. Late last night/early this morning, we were awakened by our weather radio blasting the warning of approaching imminent weather. Shortly thereafter, we were without power. It's truly unfortunate that the line crews, for the most part, are so underappreciated. It's rare that they are on duty during extreme weather conditions and being met by smiling faces and happy customers. What we tend to forget is the fact that THEY ARE OUT THERE IN THESE EXTREME CONDITIONS! We wanted to just take a brief moment to say "Thank You" to the crews of BTES. Our outage was quickly resolved and done so in the early morning hours which most people may not even been aware of said outage. These men/women work long, hard, challenging hours in elements that not many of us could NOT endure. That being said, pats on the back are definitely deserved by those linemen most people simply overlook. Thank you again for all that you do and know your willingness to work in the most unpleasant at times situations is truly appreciated :) "

"I just want to acknowledge the fast response of the BTES technicians who came out around 6AM this morning near Northeast State. It was pouring rain and the technicians still got out of the truck to find the transformer that had blown. Even after locating the transformer, they proceeded to work on the issue in the pouring rain. I was not affected by the power outage, but I was amazed at the response and dedication of the technicians to try and restore power as soon as possible. If possible please let this technician know his work did not go unnoticed and please tell him Merry Christmas. He will be blessed. "

Turned out it was in my computer Ethernet plug in. The technician had an adapter in his truck, so I was up and back on the Internet in minutes! Thank you BTES for excellent service!"

"I would like to thank the line workers and especially the dispatch person named Nick at BTES for their courtesy and concern when I lost power during this ice and snow storm. Despite their level of exhaustion, the line workers were courteous and even cheerful while repairing a downed power line. In spite of the encroaching darkness and freezing temperatures, the men at BTES managed to remain courteous and concerned about my situation. I think BTES is to be commended in their ability to handle this crisis with dedication and concern for so many customers who were adversely affected by this damaging winter storm. "I must say how special the BTES guys are. Within minutes of our power going out, I called it in on the convenient automated line. Within the hour I saw their truck and within seconds of finding the issue, they had the power back on! "BTES does it all with the fiber optic TV cable and Internet services! The cable programming quality is excellent. With our big high-definition television, the picture is as clear as being there in person. We are enjoying the Discovery and Sports Channels. The package options are very good. The day the Internet service was installed, we were able to get into the Internet in a flash of seconds, surfing the whole world. One day the BTES technician came to our home checking our Internet service. I asked what he was doing. His answer was that it could be seen in their computer system that we lost Internet connection the previous day. I had not realized we had lost the connection. But he was there to correct the problem without even a service call from us! We chose the BTES package due to the quality commitment and electricity service, which has been provided for so many years. Currently, we have our electricity, Internet, cable TV and water heater all from one utility provider."
